A social media influencer, with over 26 million followers on TikTok, has publicly declared his pro-life views.
19-year-old Naim Darrechi, from Spain, spoke out against abortion and in defence of unborn children in a series of videos posted to his TikTok account.
TikTok is a social media platform which allows users to post short video clips.
In the footage, Naim speaks to his followers saying: “An abortion is interrupting a life. When a woman is pregnant, if she doesn’t take anything, if she doesn’t abort, the natural cycle is going to make a life emerge.
“But one of the biggest arguments of the people who are in favor of abortion is: ‘no, but the fetus does not suffer’. Here the question is not whether he suffers or not. The question here is that a life is being taken.”
Responding to the video, one of Naims’s followers asked what Naim would do if his own girlfriend was to become pregnant. He replied: “I would be a father without hesitation. You give me a child and I’ll fall in love with it. Giving life to someone and on top of having the responsibility of educating him and being able to teach and guide him is the most beautiful and most precious thing in the world.”

A SPUC spokesperson said: “In a society so hostile to pro-life beliefs, Naim’s decision to speak out shows bravery.
“SPUC hopes that Naim’s courage will inspire others with pro-life views to speak out against the violence of abortion.”
