NICE (the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) has issued draft guidance that all councils should provide free condoms to children as young as 13, in order to reduce the sky-rocketing rates of sexually-transmitted infections. Rhoslyn Thomas, SPUC’s Youth Officer, and Anthony Ozimic, SPUC’s Communications Director, were interviewed on BBC and LBC radio respectively. Rhoslyn and Anthony explain, calmly yet robustly, how the proposal will be counter-productive and how it is linked with unplanned pregnancies and abortion.
