The head of NI pro-life organisation Precious Life has won an appeal against a harassment charge.
NI Marie Stopes clinic director Dawn Purvis brought a case against Bernadette Smyth, claiming two counts of harassment last year. Smyth was originally convicted but subsequently appealed the verdict and has had the charges dismissed. Throughout the case, Smyth has maintained her innocence. [Irish News, 29 June]
