Dutch doctors are calling for legislation allowing children under twelve to be euthanised.
The Dutch Paediatric Association released a statement last week saying that children "should be allowed to request euthanasia", and claimed that they understood "the consequences of such a decision." Current laws protect children under twelve from euthanasia. [Christian Institute, 24 June]
