"Two-thirds of women seeking abortions were using contraception": Britain’s largest abortion provider

Ann Furedi is the chief executive of BPAS

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), the UK's main independent abortion provider, has confirmed that the majority of women seeking abortion were using contraception at the time they conceived.

Ann Furedi, BPAS' chief executive, said: "Ultimately women cannot control their fertility through contraception alone, and need accessible abortion services as a back-up for when their contraception lets them down."

Anthony Ozimic, SPUC's communications manager, told LifeSiteNews that there is a "growing body of evidence that the provision of contraception not only fails to prevent unplanned pregnancies but results in unborn children being victimised to death as the unwelcome consequences of so-called contraceptive failure.

"Abortion merchants like Ann Furedi use 'contraceptive failure' as a leverage for both more abortion and more contraception. Contraception’s effect on culture andsociety has been wholly negative. It deems unborn human life disposable and discards any notion of individual responsibility for sexual behaviour." [LifeSiteNews.com, 5 February
