Will you be a light for unborn children?

Will you help spread the pro-life light against the culture of death?
Earlier this week the Telegraph newspaper reported that scientists have discovered that the first moment of our lives is accompanied by flash of light. From the report:
Human life begins in bright flash of light as a sperm meets an egg, scientists have shown for the first time, after capturing the astonishing ‘fireworks’ on film.
An explosion of tiny sparks erupts from the egg at the exact moment of conception.
Scientists had seen the phenomenon occur in other animals but it is the first time is has been also shown to happen in humans.
It is only because of advances in microscopic observation that we now know this wonderful fact. Of course, there are now many highly-advanced audio-visual techniques which show us the reality of pre-natal human life. However, sadly this has not slowed the spread of abortion throughout the world.
The darkness of the culture of death
It is sometimes said: Wouldn't it be wonderful if wombs had windows? Then the wondrous humanity of unborn children would be clear to all to see, and many minds might be enlightened about the wrongness of abortion, which is largely hidden behind closed doors.
However, the darkness of the culture of death is a darkness which goes deeper than the visual, the physical and even the rational capacities of human beings. There is a darkness in many people's hearts, which can only be reached person-to-person.
Pro-life light
A doctoral student writing a thesis on the pro-life movement once asked me: Have you ever thought that a pro-life campaign was a failure? I replied that no pro-life campaign can ever be a total failure. The world is enveloped in the darkness of the culture of death, and every pro-life campaign is like a candle which, however small, helps to dispel that darkness.
Will you be the light for unborn children? Will you be the person who offers help to a mother in a crisis pregnancy, or who drops a leaflet through a neighbour's door, or who stands in a city centre with a message of truth?
