Local action to save lives
SPUC is a grass-roots campaigning organisation.
Our work involves inspiring and supporting ordinary citizens to engage with their local MP on pro-life matters. SPUC also runs a grass roots educational pro-life outreach to spread the pro-life message locally.
What is a SPUC branch?
A SPUC branch is a group of local SPUC members working in unison with the Society to campaign for the basic right-to-life of all human beings from conception to natural death.
A branch is a group of three of more members who are committed to:
- Meeting regularly
- Implementing SPUC campaigns
How are SPUC branches different to other pro-life groups?
SPUC is unique because it is a grass-roots organisation. Our chief strength lies in local people taking action in their own neighbourhood.
We will change the hearts and minds of UK society on abortion when we change the hearts and minds of people living in our own town or city.
What is the main focus of SPUC branches?
The main focus of SPUC branches is to implement SPUC campaigns.
How do I form a SPUC branch?
A first step in forming a SPUC branch is to find a small group of people willing to commit to setting up a branch. Your next step is to contact SPUC HQ or SPUC Scotland so that we support and guide you in setting up a SPUC branch.
Please contact us if you are interested in setting up a SPUC branch.
