A new website has launched which is teaching women how to perform their own abortions at home using abortion drugs. John Deighan, SPUC Deputy Chief Executive said: "Pro-abortion advocates are so eager to normalise abortion that they show a callous disregard for women’s health."
The website, how to use abortion pill, has collaborated with Doctors Without Borders, a self-styled ‘humanitarian aid group.’ The website informs readers that its purpose is to provide women with online information on how to end a pregnancy by themselves and how to ‘navigate abortion on their own terms.’
The website provides step by step guides on how to purchase and self-administer abortion drugs without medical supervision. It informs women that they may "pass blood clots up to the size of lemons."
Mr Deighan said: "The use of abortion drugs can cause serious health complications. It is shocking to see the health of women being neglected in such a cavalier manner for the sake of satisfying the radical pro-abortion agenda."
In 2019, a report by the American Journal of Physicians and Surgeons uncovered how abortion drugs were four times more dangerous than surgical abortions. To date, 24 women have died following the consumption of abortion drugs and over 3000 women have been hospitalised.
