A UK judge has upheld a ban prohibiting pro-life campaigner, Christian Hacking, from displaying accurate abortion images in the constituency of pro-abortion politician, Stella Creasy. The judge branded the real-life abortion images as “deeply disturbing.”
Mr Hacking who is an employee of Centre for Bioethical Reform UK, a pro-life campaigning group, was issued with a Community Protection Notice (CPN) on October 3, 2019 by Waltham Forest London Borough Council, after he displayed real life images of an aborted child.
Mr Hacking challenged the CPN stating: “How can we see positive change in the UK if politicians and councils are allowed to dictate how we express peaceable opinions in public?”
However, a judge has ruled against Mr Hacking’s appeal and upheld the ban which prohibited him from displaying images in Walthamstow, north-east London, which is the constituency of pro-abortion politician, Stella Creasy.
Pro-abortion Labour MP Stella Creasy is one of the leading politicians responsible for the imposition of the abortion regime in Northern Ireland.
What is actually ‘disturbing’ is the destruction of human life
Michael Robinson, SPUC Director of Communications said: “A fundamental value in our society is the freedom of expression.
“Whilst many would choose to promote their message in a different way from the approach taken by CBRUK, what is at stake is crucial to a free society.
“It is a sad indictment of how illiberal the establishment has come that it sides with an influential public figure to trample the rights of those she disagrees with.
“This ruling exposes the double standard where any offense seems to be permitted against traditional values, but those fighting against the wickedness of abortion are measured by a different standard. The judge claims the image of a [fetus] is deeply disturbing. What is actually disturbing is the destruction of a human life at that stage, which the CBR campaigners are trying to prevent.”
