Aria and Skylar, premature twin sisters, have been pictured cuddling each other after being delivered by C-section.
The photo was taken by a midwife in a London hospital.
Aria and Skylar were diagnosed with Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS) at 20 weeks.
TTTS is a condition in which two twins or more share a placenta in the womb, as well as the same system of blood vessels, essential to their development.
In the case of Aria and Skylar, laser ablation surgery was required, which was carried out successfully.
The twins were then born prematurely. After spending five weeks in hospital, they went home with their parents.
