Project Truth to hit the streets this summer

SPUC Scotland’s youth initiative, Project Truth, is due to hit the streets this summer as Coronavirus lockdown restrictions ease.

Each summer, the Project Truth team, consisting of young pro-life activists aged between 18-30, embarks on a roadshow around the towns and cities of Scotland. The team provides factual information regarding the development of life in the womb and discusses how abortion impacts unborn children, their mothers and wider society.

Project Truth’s 2020 roadshow was cancelled due to government restrictions.

However, as restrictions are now set to ease, the team is thrilled to take to the Scottish streets once again this summer.

Project Truth will tour five Scottish cities and towns this year. Health and safety measures will be in place to ensure the safety of team members and the public.

SPUC comment

A SPUC spokesperson said: “After a long and challenging year, Project Truth is thrilled to once again be able to spread the pro-life message.

“Each year, Project Truth encourages the public to engage in a wider discussion regarding the humanity of unborn children, the reality of abortion and the circumstances of those facing a crisis pregnancy.

“One conversation at a time, we can change hearts and minds and restore a culture of life back into our country.”

Applications for Project Truth are closing on Wednesday May 12th. If you are aged between 18-30 and are interested in applying, please email: eden@spucscotland.org
