A Catholic church in Boulder, Colorado, in the United States, has been viciously vandalised by pro-abortion graffiti, including the slogan, “Jesus Loves Abortion”. A memorial to aborted babies was also destroyed.
The memorial of 4,000 white crosses, representing the number of babies aborted every day in the United States, displayed on the church lawn, was trampled by unknown vandals.
Pro-abortion slogans such as “My Body My Choice” were also sprayed over the church grounds by abortion extremists.
Father Jonathan Dellinger, the resident priest, has asked parishioners to “put those folks at the top of your prayer list, and pray for their conversion”.
A parish church in nearby Louisville was similarly vandalised, it has been reported.
Desecrations, pro-abortion graffiti and other related incidents have escalated in recent times in the United States.
This summer, a pro-life billboard in the U.S. state of Wyoming was defaced with obscenities and abuse directed at babies.
In Texas, another billboard ad was removed after the owner received death threats, as reported by SPUC.
SPUC comment
A SPUC spokesperson said: “Abortion advocates are becoming increasingly extreme, especially in the United States, where desecration and the intimidation of pro-lifers are now a common occurrence.
“The aggression and callosuness exhibited in such disgusting incidents are synonymous with the act of abortion itself, however, wholly disregarding the unborn and the human person.
“Accordingly, while such descrations are, indeed, shocking, they are a clear reflection of the ethic of abortion, which is, quite simply, to destroy.”
