Whole Woman’s Health, an abortion provider in the United States, has tweeted: “Abortion is good. We like abortion.”
Responding to the proposition, “Nobody *likes* abortion”, Whole Woman’s Health posted on its official Twitter page: “Wrong. We do. We’ve provided countless abortions to patients who went on to live their best lives. Abortion is safe and it gives people control of their futures. Abortion is good. We like abortion.”
The post appeared on 10 January and has, so far, not been taken down.
Whole Woman’s Health has committed “countless” abortions, according to its own Twitter page.
Recently, one of its facilities, in Fort Worth, killed 67 unborn babies in 17 hours before a new Texan law, the Texas Heartbeat Act, came into force, as reported by SPUC.
The same provider has a terrible safety record, violating numerous health and safety codes, including tarnished and dirty equipment, as well as untrained staff.
Pro-lifer Abby Johnson, a former director at pro-abortion giant Planned Parenthood, said at the time: “There is no way the proper attention and care was given to women at Whole Woman’s Health… The recovery room must have been such an awful place to be.”
Abortion facilities in the UK have a similarly dire safety record. A few months ago, three facilities were put into special measures and served with enforcement notices after the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rated them “inadequate”.
SPUC comment
A SPUC spokesperson said: “The vile abortion industry, in the United States and elsewhere, thinks abortion good, most of all because the killing of babies provides it with profit.
“While Whole Woman’s Health’s Twitter post is disgusting, it does show what these dealers really think – though the statement that ‘abortion is safe’ and good for women is a blatant lie.
“As has been made quite clear by its shocking record of malpractice, the well-being of women is far from being a priority. We must never forget that this sordid industry trades in death and the denigration of women.”
