Thousands of pro-life advocates have marched in Berlin, demanding an end to abortion and for full legal protections to be restored to unborn children.
Over 4,000 courageous pro-life people gathered in Berlin, Germany’s capital, on 17th September for the annual March for Life. The pro-life demonstrators demanded an end to abortion and called for human life to be protected from the moment of conception.
Unborn children can be killed by abortion in Germany until the 12th week of gestation. An estimated 95,000 unborn children had their lives ended by abortion during 2021 in Germany.
Attending the March for Life, Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer of Regensburg was one of many pro-life demonstrators who felt compelled to participate to be a voice for the voiceless. Bishop Voderholzer stated that the right to life is a constitutional right, which every person should be fighting to protect.
The Berlin March for Life took place only two weeks after the March for Life in London, which recorded its largest turnout yet with over 7,000 pro-lifers attending.
