Catholic archdiocese announces theology of the body lecture to honour papal visit.
The Catholic archdiocese of Westminster, England will host its annual Theology of the Body lecture on 14 September in honour of Pope Benedict's visit to Great Britain that month. The lecture, entitled "In the service of women - men are called to greatness", will be given by Brian J. Gail, author of "Fatherless", a Christian novel. Chinese one-child policy likely to cause future social plagues.
Hannah Beech, a Time magazine journalist, has reported that China is now experiencing severe gender imbalance due to its one-child policy. She reports that many Chinese families selectively abort female unborn children, meaning there will possibly be as many as 24 million single men by 2020.
