President Komorowski has approved the Large Family Card bill

President Bronislaw Komorowski has signed legislation designed to give larger families in Poland financial benefits.

The Large Family Card bill will enable families with three or more children to claim discounts when using public transport or purchasing from public institutions.

Other measures will include financial support for parents who are not eligible for parental leave and for low-income families above the usual threshold for family benefits. [23 December, The Warsaw Voice]
