A US embryo adoption company plans to introduce the service in the UK this year, The Evening Standard reports. Snowflakes was created to rescue IVF embryos that would otherwise be discarded and has been responsible for the birth of 32 children in the US to date. It carries out procedures familiar to the traditional adoption process, including screening both sets of parents and allowing donor parents to veto adoptive parents they consider unsuitable.
