The Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society funds research, supports families and raises awareness of the condition.  This charity is a member of the AMRC.

The society advocates the use of pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, whereby embryos formed through IVF are screened for the condition before implantation. The charity also provides information and advice on pre-natal genetic testing.
