No Home Abortions

SPUC is campaigning to oppose harmful moves to allow women undergoing a medical abortion to take the second abortion pill at home.

Wherever abortion takes place babies lose their lives and their mothers are wounded. SPUC is opposing women taking abortion pills at home because this trivialises abortion, making it seem easy and without risk. Women can suffer psychological trauma when they end their baby’s life at home.

SPUC is taking hard-hitting action against plans to allow women to take abortion pills at home:

• SPUC Scotland has mounted a legal challenge against the Scottish Government 
• SPUC supporters in Wales are battling against a proposal for home abortions by the Welsh Assembly
• SPUC national is mounting resistance against a campaign for home abortions in England and Wales by the Women’s Equality Party
