Baby Layla has been described as a “real life festive miracle” after she made it home in time for Christmas after spending 115 days in hospital.
Layla’s proud parents, Vicky and Scot, rejected abortion after being told that Layla had liver problems and may not survive. Layla was born three months prematurely and weighed a mere 9lbs.
The tiny baby fought for survival and spent the first 115 days of her life in hospital. She underwent numerous operations and blood transfusions.
Against all odds, baby Layla survived.
She is now home and ready to celebrate Christmas with her family!
Mum Vicky said: “There have been so many times where we've been told that our little girl wasn't going to make it, so we feel incredibly lucky that she's here with us.
"And to be able to bring her home in time for her first Christmas is just magical.
"It's like all our Christmases have come at once. We are so happy and can't wait for our first family Christmas.
"We were told we would be very lucky to be home for Christmas because of how poorly she was…so we are even more grateful."
