The dismembered remains of an aborted baby were found in a dumpster outside an abortion clinic in Ohio, last month, it has been reported.
An American from an Ohio pro-life group has discovered the remains of an aborted child outside the Northeast Ohio Women’s Centre (NEOWC) in the United States.
The dismembered remains were estimated to be that of a 17-week-old unborn child.
In 2020, legislation was introduced in Ohio that requires abortion providers to assume financial responsibility for the burial or cremation of aborted children’s remains.
Ohio Right to Life, a pro-life group, has shared images of the remains, shaming the clinic, as well as calling for action against the centre.
Republican Indiana Representative Jim Banks has commented that images are “a wake-up call for anyone who suggests that a 17-week-old fetus is ‘a clump of cells’”.
In May, SPUC reported on the story of “inspirational” Vietnamese women volunteering to provide dignified burials for aborted children, alerting the world to the truth that unborn children are not medical waste.
SPUC comment
A SPUC spokesperson said: “The throwing into a dumpster of the dismembered remains of an aborted baby is indicative of the way the abortion industry views and treats the unborn.
“SPUC affirms the humanity and right to life of unborn children. How we treat our fellow humans in life also corresponds to how we treat them in death, as this case underscores.
“Who might this person have become had they not had their life violently ended and discarded in a dustbin? Did they never have a name? What might they have achieved? Who might they have loved and been loved by?
“Such stories as these point to the immense atrocity currently being undertaken on a global scale against the unborn, which is covered up by the media and the broader culture.”
