Doctor kills 67 babies in one day in Texan “abortion mill”

An abortion facility in Texas has reportedly killed 67 unborn babies in 17 hours as it rushed to beat the U.S. state’s new abortion ruling. Michael Robinson, SPUC Director of Communications, said: “Such ‘clinics’ are nothing but abortion mills, seeking to kill as many unborn babies as possible, to such an extent that they are willing to ignore the safety of the mothers involved.”

The Whole Woman's Health clinic in Fort Worth aborted eight babies every hour, on average, on 31 August, with only one doctor in attendance. The facility brought in staff from another site to help in a final push to kill as many babies as possible.

The rush was prompted by the new Texas Heartbeat Act, essentially introducing a six-week limit on abortion in the state, as reported by SPUC. An abortion can now only take place if no heartbeat is detected in the child.

It is hoped that the law will result in as much as an 85% decline in abortion, with up to 100 babies being saved from abortion every day.

“Awful” and “dangerous”, says former director

Pro-lifer Abby Johnson, a former director at the pro-abortion giant Planned Parenthood, said that the number of abortions taking place at Whole Woman’s Health was dangerous, but not untypical.

“There is no way the proper attention and care was given to women at Whole Woman’s Health that day”, she said.

Johnson continued: “Performing that many abortions in 17 hours means 15 minutes per woman, and that is without bathroom or food breaks for the octogenarian who was doing procedures. The recovery room must have been such an awful place to be…

“This particular clinic has had a myriad of health violations already, such as untrained staff, improper sterilization of abortion instruments, and rips and tears on exam tables.”

“Nothing to do with ‘health’”

SPUC’s Mr. Robinson said: “Whole Woman’s Health does not serve the interests of women, and certainly has nothing to do with ‘health’.

“Such abortion mills facilitate death on an industrial scale, behind closed doors, without care or concern for the women involved, as Abby Johnson attests.

“While the number of deaths at this awful place is hard to contemplate, they are not out of the ordinary. Every child lost was a precious human being worthy of life, while the mothers involved may suffer terrible mental and physical consequences as well.

“And the abortion industry could not care less.”
