Abortion giant Planned Parenthood has praised abortionists who kill unborn babies by saying that they are “heroes". The group released the statement on March 10th, Abortion Provider Appreciation Day.
Michael Robinson, SPUC Director of Communications, said: “The purpose of abortion is to intentionally and directly kill a defenseless unborn baby. It appears that Planned Parenthood have an abhorrently warped understanding of the true meaning of the word ‘heroic’.”
On Abortion Provider Appreciation Day, pro-abortion advocacy groups flocked to social media using the hashtag #CelebrateAbortionProviders.
Planned Parenthood kills an average of one baby every 89 seconds. On Wednesday it released a statement on social media which read: “Abortion providers give every patient what they deserve… they are heroes.”
Marie Stopes International, another abortion giant and one of the UK’s largest abortion giants, also hailed abortionists by releasing an online statement calling them “superheroes".
SPUC’s Mr Robinson said: “Abortion not only destroys defenseless human lives but is also leaves many women with long lasting damage. Those who provide abortions should be urged to re-consider the devastating impact their actions are having upon society. They should not be celebrated or appreciated.”
Abortionists believe they are “heroes” of the pandemic
This is not the first occasion when the abortion industry has likened killing unborn children to acts of heroism.
Marie Stopes, which on average kills 4.8 million unborn children each year, has stated on social media that they believe themselves to be equal to the healthcare workers battling to protect people from COVID-19.
In a distasteful social media statement, Marie Stopes International posted a picture of a celebratory cake and stated: “Although they don't wear capes, our MSI providers are superheroes. In the midst of a pandemic, they're working hard to save lives and empower women.”
The abortion giants self appreciation generated a fierce social media backlash, with users calling their statement an insult to “real” healthcare workers.
One user said that abortion providers who think that their work is "heroic" are “an insult to actual healthcare workers who are saving lives, not ending lives”.
