Highlights from past One-Day Conferences

Conference Speakers
Bernadette Smyth
Joining us in London, Bernadette Smyth, founder and director of Precious Life in Northern Ireland, is a dynamic speaker, who joins us soon after a successful Rally for Life, Liberty & Faith in Belfast! Bernadette will have lots to say, not least about the ongoing suppression of pro-life expression by Belfast City Council.

Sarah Morse
Sarah Morse will be joining us at Conference in London at a pivotal time for her. A cover teacher, at the time at a High School in Arbroath, Scotland, Sarah answered a pupil’s question about abortion honestly, with reference to her Catholic Faith, and she was sacked for it. SPUC is now representing Sarah legally, and an Employment Tribunal will take place in late August. SPUC is proud to be representing Sarah, and delighted that she will be sharing her story with us at Conference in London later this year.
Sara Spencer
In Glasgow we will be joined by Sara Spencer. An American living in Scotland, Sara faced a professional investigation after publicly expressing pro-life views during her midwifery training! Sara’s case even caught the attention of the mainstream media on the other side of the Atlantic, with Fox News covering her case. Sara is now using her voice to fight for the unborn, so don’t miss the opportunity to hear her in Glasgow!

John Mason
Delegates in Glasgow will be able to hear from former MP and MSP, and close friend to SPUC, John Mason. As well as representing the people of the East of Glasgow for almost 20 years, John is a stalwart of the pro-life movement in the UK. When the draconian abortion facility buffer zones were voted for in the Scottish Parliament in 2024, John Mason was the sole MSP to vote against their implementation. John is also the recipient of SPUC’s Lifetime Achievement award, and we are excited to hear from him at Conference.
