Between 28th December 2023 and 30th November 2024, the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children and the Knights of St. Columba are uniting in prayer for an end to the culture of death and for a flourishing of the culture of life.
Let Life Flourish: A Spiritual Bouquet is a rallying call to SPUC supporters, KSC members, Christians and all people of good will to pray with renewed faith and trust for the protection of life from conception until natural death.
Since the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act, over 10 million precious babies have lost their lives in our country to abortion and countless numbers of women, men and families have been deeply hurt too. Recognising that the battle to defend the sanctity of life is, above all, a spiritual one, we must renew our plea to God for life to flourish in this land.
Prayer, together with pro-life witness and action, is needed now more than ever if we are to realise our goal of one day making abortion unthinkable and we are counting on you to unite your prayers with ours in the months ahead.
Please pray particularly for the following intentions during each month of the campaign.

November 2024
For the work of SPUC and the KSC in defending the sanctity of life.

October 2024
For an end to abortion in the UK.

September 2024
For political leaders, that they will act to uphold the sanctity of life through just laws.
Intentions in previous months

August 2024
For women and families expecting a child at this time.

July 2024
For the church, that its witness to the sanctity of life will touch the hearts of all people.

June 2024
For fathers of children lost to abortion.

May 2024
For women and families struggling with infertility.

April 2024
For those grieving the loss of a child during pregnancy.

March 2024
For medical staff, that they will always act to protect the dignity of human life at every stage.

February 2024
For those seeking healing after an experience of abortion.

January 2024
For families, that they will be supported and remain open to the gift of new life.

Please tell us what prayerful contribution you are making to the Spiritual Bouquet
