Woman wants abortion as she and boyfriend aren’t ready to give up “no kids” lifestyle

A woman in her twenties plans to have an abortion as she and her boyfriend “aren’t ready” to give up their “no kids” lifestyle.

This week, a woman, 24, posted on Reddit to say that she’s pregnant and will go to a Planned Parenthood facility to receive abortion pills today, 15 April.

She wrote that she and her boyfriend, 29, “aren’t ready to be parents and love our DINK (dual income no kids) lifestyle. He is my biggest supporter and I’m really lucky to have him. He is taking me to Planned Parenthood on Tuesday and he’s been holding onto me this entire time.”

The woman says that she lives in a US state where abortion is illegal, and she is travelling to an abortion facility out of state.

“I’m extremely nervous and I’m not sure what to expect when I go in… I’m not sure how my body is going to react when I take it…

“I feel so awful and at fault to do this to us. We are gonna take about a $500/$600 hit to do this. He can’t go into work Tuesday and I’m going to be so exhausted to go in to work but just so I don’t lose my job I have to.”

The woman appeared to be having some doubts about the abortion:

“I just hate myself so much because we are going through something so big together and I just feel like this is our miracle baby but… I know we can’t do it now. Financially it isn’t possible, and I just feel so bad for us and for the baby. However, at the end of the day I feel like I’m saving this baby from everything going on in the world.”

She also stated that she couldn’t talk to her family or friends about it, and that her only support network, other than Reddit, was her boyfriend and her cat.

Earlier this month, a pro-life journalist was assaulted in New York during an interview about abortion giant Planned Parenthood and whether adoption was better than abortion. Savannah Craven Antao, 23, the interviewer, was punched twice and left bloodied by a pro-abortion member of the public.

“The truth is, abortion is violence, and it creates violence”, Mrs Antao said after the attack. “And this is what abortion does to people. It hurts women, it hurts families and it hurts babies.”
